For our take on this always-popular American classic, a thick layer of rich buttercream frosting is sandwiched between two devil's food cakes. The devil’s food cake is exceptionally moist with an intense chocolate flavor, and the vanilla buttercream frosting is divine. 
 
Whoopie Pie Ingredients: 
Cake: sugar, shortening, eggs, milk, cocoa, wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract.
Buttercream frosting: butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cream.
